Dual Enrollment Opportunities

Would you like to graduate high school with up to thirty (30) college credit hours completed?

Thanks to the partnership between Polk School District, Georgia Highlands College, and Georgia Northwestern Technical College, students can participate in Dual Enrollment at both Cedartown and Rockmart High Schools through Polk County College and Career Academy. Dual Enrollment courses allow students, grades 11 and 12, to enroll in college courses and earn concurrent credit towards a high school diploma and a college degree at no-cost to the student. We offer a variety of courses, on-campus, between our Rockmart and Cedartown campuses. All of the general education courses taught on our campuses are approved for transfer between accredited Technical College System of Georgia and University System of Georgia institutions. The articulation agreement between the Technical College System of Georgia and the University System of Georgia is in the link below.
