It's time to plan for our yearly CMS Semi-Formal Dance/8th Grade Walk! This year, we will be hosting a "Sneaker Ball" (semi-formal attire with sneakers) on Friday, April 25 (6:00-8:00pm) in the CMS Gym for ALL GRADE LEVELS (DJ, lights, free 360 Photo Booth | only $10 at the door | concessions will be sold)!! **8th Grade Walk will begin at 5:30pm in the CMS Gym for 8th Grade/Families only!!! ❤🐾🖤👟

Cedartown Middle School is proud to announce that our Isaac Reynoso Reynoso, 6th Grade, won Honorable Mention in the 2024-2025 Young Georgia Authors regional competition, hosted by Northwest Georgia RESA!
The purpose of the Young Georgia Authors (YGA) writing competition is to encourage students to develop an enthusiasm for and expertise in their writing, to provide a context to celebrate their writing successes, and to recognize student achievement in arts and academics.
This prestigious competition has been engaging Georgia students for more than two decades and is open to any student currently enrolled in Georgia public schools, grades K-12. The competition is sponsored by the Georgia Language Arts Supervisors (GLAS) and the Georgia RESA Network.
