Our wonderful Parent Involvement Coordinator, Mrs. Gabby Garcia would like you to please look over the January Parent Newsletter. This month's addition includes some valuable information.

Today is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day and we would like to thank our wonderful SRO officer, Jesse Morris for his service and commitment to our school. He is the absolute BEST! He always has a smile on his face and makes us feel safe!

IMPORTANT! Based on conversations with our Local Emergency Management office regarding the potential for severe weather tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9, including flash flooding and high wind gusts, Polk School District is delaying school two hours to allow our bus drivers/riders and student drivers to navigate their daily routes in the daylight. We apologize for any inconvenience but will always make decisions in the best interest of our students and staff, keeping safety our first priority. Thank you for continuing to support us in our efforts.
Time Change Examples include:
If your bus picks you up at 6:45 on a normal school day, they will pick you up at 8:45.
If you normally drop your child off at 7:15, you will drop off at 9:15.
If the tardy bell rings at 7:35 daily, it will ring at 9:35. Dismissal times will remain the same.

We are so proud of our Red Carpet Readers! Congratulations to our students who have earned an A.R. Point Club during Semester One! Keep Reading!

Renaissance Awards for Semester One will be held during grade level activity times on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. We look forward to seeing those of you who can attend!
