Kona Ice Reminder
Kaneisha Smith from Tar Wars visited Van Wert to present to our 4th and 5th-grade students. Tar Wars is a tobacco-free educational program for kids from the American Academy of Family Physicians.
After reading "Pete the Cat: The Great Leprechaun Chase" in the library this week kindergarten and first-grade students created rainbows from marshmallows, cereal, and other Makerspace materials.

Ms. Pace’s 4th grade classes will be learning about chickens and hatching chicken eggs. She will be implementing a reading unit alongside the hatching process. It takes 20-21 days for chicks to hatch. A special thank you to Chris Jones for providing the eggs for her classroom!
