Every fall, the Advanced Placement (AP) Program, through the College Board, recognizes high school students who have demonstrated outstanding college-level achievement through their performance on multiple AP Exams. We are thrilled to recognize eleven outstanding students across Polk School District that received the AP Scholar Award. The AP Scholar Award is granted to students who receive a 3 or higher on three or more AP exams. Students that receive a 3 or higher on four or more exams are granted the AP Scholar with Honor award. These students have demonstrated exceptional dedication to their academics and a commitment to excellence in their pursuit of knowledge. This prestigious award is not only reflective of their intellectual capabilities but also their resilience for success and work ethic which are two traits that extend far beyond the classroom. We take immense pride in recognizing these students—the countless hours of studying, critical thinking, and dedication invested in their academic journey. Their success is not only a reflection of their individual achievements but also a source of inspiration for their peers and a point of pride for our district and community. CAN YOU SAY POWERHOUSE! 💪🏼 Rockmart High School Wrestling, took TWELVE competitors to the GHSA State Wrestling competition in Macon, Georgia this weekend! Our YELLOW JACKETS finished with a total of nine men standing on the podium! FIVE STATE CHAMPIONS, and FOUR state runner-ups! Audrey Sadler made RHS history as the first female wrestler to advance to state competition. 🏆🥇🤼 Join us in congratulating our BACK-TO-BACK GHSA State Dual, and GHSA State Traditional CHAMPIONS!
