Our CMS Veterans Day Ceremony will be Friday, November 10 in the CMS Gym at 9:00am. We cordially invite our local heroes to join us (you may want to arrive a little early so that you can sign in and make your way to the gym). Refreshments, photos, and fellowship for our Veterans, Active Military, guests, and their student(s) in the CMS Media Center following the ceremony. ❤🐾🖤🇺🇸

FERST Readers of Polk County presents their FIRST EVER Book Character Contest! Mr. Matt Foster, Social Studies Teacher at Cedartown Middle School, chose to be Theodore Roosevelt during his days leading the Rough Riders!
Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt, 27 Oct 1858—6 Jan 1919, was the 26th president of the United States (1901–1909) and a writer, naturalist, and soldier.
When war was declared against Spain in 1898, Roosevelt organized the 1st Volunteer Cavalry (the Rough Riders) and became the biggest national hero to come out of the Spanish-American War.
