We are pleased to announce the winners of Friday's and today's milkshake drawing - congratulations to Julie-Anna M, Adalynn L, Braylee H, and Londyn R! Thank you for putting forth your best effort. We would also like to extend a special thank you to Chic-fil-A in Rockmart for their donation of all the milkshakes!
We are SO excited about Field Day this year! Here are some fast facts about our upcoming events:
• Each grade will have a day designated for their events. The days and times for each grade are as follows:
o Pre-K and Kindergarten – Tuesday, May 14th starting at 9:00 AM
o 1st and 2nd grade – Wednesday, May 15th starting at 9:00 AM
o 3rd – 5th grade – Thursday, May 16th starting at 9:00 AM
• Each grade will have an opening ceremony on their designated day starting at 8:50 AM. For our opening ceremonies, the students will participate in a color walk. Students will pass through different colored powders. Students will be provided sunglasses before their event. If you do not want your child to participate, please let their teacher know ahead of time.
• Parents will be able to attend their child’s event on the given day and time; however, according to PSD policy, NO student can check out to attend the event of a sibling. We also ask that non-school-age children do not attend for safety reasons.
• Kona Ice will be available to purchase on Wednesday and Thursday.
